The 2012 Oscars nominations list have been unleashed!
Although the number of nominees for best picture were a bit less than of last years’ set of nominees, these nine 2011 movies really promises to be the Top 10 Best Films of 2011. Well, to be appropriate make that 9.
Martin Scorsese “Hugo” leads the Academy Awards with 11 nominations. While Michel Hazanavicius’s black and white film “The Artist” seconds with 10 nominations. Also nominated for best picture Tuesday were the Stephen Daldry drama film “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close“, Alexander Payne’s “The Descendants“, the very entertaining “The Help“, visually dazzling drama flicks “Midnight in Paris” and “The Tree of Life“, “Moneyball” and Steven Spielberg touching war-film “War Horse“.
