Temptation Island is an upcoming movie remake of the 1980 Filipino film directed by Joey Gosiengfiao.The remake of Temptation Island will unite the brightest stars in the entertainment industry of the Philippines.First on the list of the tentative casts is Angelica Panganiban for the role of Jennifer Cortez, Lovie Poe for the role of Dina Bonnevie; Carla Abellana for Bambi Arambulo’s role, Pokwang for Deborah Sun’s role and Marian Rivera reprising the role of Azenith Briones.The movie also stars John “Sweet” Lapus, in fact he said during his portion in Showbiz Central that he will play the role portrayed before by Jonas Sebastian.
“Ako si Joshua, yung baklang kakainin nila,” he said.
However, the casting for the leading men are not yet final.But he assured that both kapamilya stars Jake Cuenca and Zanjoe Marudo will play the roles played by Alfie Anido and Domingo Sabado, respectively.
It was reported during the contract signing of Andi Eigenmann that she will be part of the casts of Temptation Island remake but due to hectic schedules, Angelica Panganiban got the role.She even expressed her disappointments for not having been able to accept the role.When the news spread that Regal is eyeing on her to become part of Temptation Island she said that she’s looking forward of being part of the remake.But she got quite disappointed when she heard that she might not become part of the movie since it might create conflicts with her schedule with Regal Films and Star Cinema.Anyway, she also said that if ever she won’t become part of the official cast, she would motivate herself upon thinking that there’s going to be a better project ahead of her.Andi Eigenmann added that if ever she’d became part of the Temptation Island movie remake it might be hard for her to make up with the requirements of the film; this is because she’s still not ready to go “too sexy”!
On the other hand, Carla Abellana spilled a lil information about her role “Yung character ko, I think, bago kasi, ako ‘yung magpi-play ng conservative sa mga babae. So, nakaka-excite lalo na ito ‘yung first movie na gagawin ko sa Regal.”
Was Bambi Arambulo’s role conservative in the film? I’m not sure.Well I’ve seen the 1980 movie itself and I must say it’s a work of art.We’ll see what Regal Films and Chris Martinez has to offer us!

Ayos na sana ang cast, bakit sinama pa si marianne? Oo, si MARIANNE RIVERA. That flirt, at ano ung paiyak- iyak nia sa presscon niya, “paawa” hay naku! Sana naman ang GMA kumuha na ng ibang artist na pasisikatin, Oo kumikita sila sa bruhang yan kaso nagsasawa din ang mga tao sa kanya and they know how hypocrite that bitch is! Akala mo mabait, eh bait baitan lang at ang arte. Wag niyong sabihing mali ako! You know guys what i’m talking about. That’s it!

Akala mo naman kung sino magsalita to, wag ka ngang ipokrita. Tingnan mo nga muna yang sarili mo pati mga lumalabas sa bibig mo. Ikaw ang dapat mag-self reflect nakakahiya kasi nagmumuhka kang tanga sa mga sinasabi mo.. Hindi ka diyos para malaman kung sino ang isang tao base lang sa nakikita at nababalitaan mo sa T.V.

In fairness, i enjoyed the movie. Chris Martinez’ script never disappoints talaga.
